If you bought any book directly from us and paid 80-100% of the original list price before shipping, you may return the book in salable condition within 60 days and we will issue a prompt, courteous refund (the shipping charge is non-refundable). Please include a note about why the book didn't work for you. If the book is dog-eared from use, has coffee stains, etc., please don't bother to return it as we will not issue a refund.

If you were not charged shipping originally, we will deduct our actual shipping cost from your refund.

If you took advantage of one of our occasional deep-discount special offers and paid less than 80% of list, the book is non-returnable.

Note: The Penny-Pinching Hedonist: How to Live Like Royalty with a Peasant's Pocketbook was originally published at $17.00. The 50 percent deep discount to $8.50 makes it not returnable under this policy. The price reduction reflects not only the switch from paperback to e-book, but also that the book was published in 1995. While nearly all the strategies and tips are still effective, it does not have good coverage of Internet resources, and of course some of the prices and contact information is obsolete. The average reader will still save $500 to $2000 per year for your $8.50.
