ztoprak is currently recognized as one of the most accomplished artists of international scope in Turkey. In 1996 the International Association of Plastic Arts awarded him the 50 years of achievement prize. Sevda and Can Elgiz are the largest collectors of Oztopraks work in Turkey and have chosen to include several paintings by the artist in the current exhibition, A view from 1988 up to now.
